If you are at least 18 years old and willing to work for your community, then you may want to look into joining the Westville Fire Department.  (If you are to young to be a member we do have a fully outfitted Jr. program from 14 years of age to 17 years of age.) As a member you will be required to attend certain training  that will enable you to serve your community to the best of your ability as well as allowing you to feel good about yourself.

Once certified as an E.M.T. you will be required to run an E.M.S. duty crew which is four 12 hour shifts a month, that you can either run from home or in our newly re-finished bunk room. We also have other requirements such as attending monthly meetings and weekly drills, as well as helping out with various department and community activities.

The Westville Fire Department offers free training in Firefighting and Emergency Medical Services. As a new member to the fire service you will be required to attend the Firefighter I program as well as the Emergency Medical Technician (E.M.T.) class. We offer a newly re-finished bunk room area for duty crew nights as well as a fun atmosphere allowing you to hang out and make new friends. As well as the self-satisfaction of giving something back to your community.
 

So now that your interested in becoming a member of the
Westville Fire Department, here are the ways you can do it:

                    1. Stop by the firehouse on a Thursday night anytime after 1900 hrs. to speak with some of the members and pick up an application. 

                    2. Stop by the fire district building behind the fire house between 0900 hrs. and 1500 hrs.  Monday thru Friday to speak with one of the career personnel and pick up an application.

                    3. Stop by the station anytime the doors are open or there is a vehicle in the parking lot and speak with a member and pick up an application.
